Guiding Light

According to a Buddhist maxim, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear".

And so John did.

John Bachmann, served as the Managing Partner and CEO of Edward Jones from 1980-2003. Under his leadership, the company grew from 200 offices in 28 states to more than 9000 offices throughout the United States and its affiliates in Canada and United Kingdom; making it one of the largest securities firm outside the Wall Street.

Bachmann stepped down as managing partner and became senior partner in December 2003. He served two terms as chairman of the Securities Industry Association in 1987 and 1988, a time of great turbulence because of the October 1987 stock market crash.

John sees similarities between the way Indian market is evolving, and how the US market evolved a few decades back. He is playing an active role in coaching and mentoring Fin@Work team to realize their vision.
